State Champs: undefeated Camas girls soccer team takes 4A state title

The Camas girls soccer team entered postseason play with an unbeaten record, but wanted to leave nothing to chance. Even though the Papermakers hadn’t participated in a penalty-kick (PK) shootout all season, they wanted to make sure they were prepared just in case.

State honors Washougal police officer

Washougal police officer Francis Reagan’s life-saving actions on the Washougal River in May 2019 have been recognized with Washington state’s most prestigious law-enforcement award.

Camas girls soccer team heads to 4A semifinals

The Camas girls soccer team felt as though it could’ve contended for a state championship in 2020, but had to settle for a league title after the 4A state tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Injury knocks Camas runner out of state meet

Most athletes believe in the “practice makes perfect” proverb, which states that people can become better at something if they do it over and over again. But in the past year, Camas High School cross country runner Katelyn Flolo has realized that less is more when it comes to maximizing her talents and, more importantly, taking care of her body.
