Washougal High theater students to present ‘Once Upon a Mattress’

The Washougal High School drama department usually forgoes a full-fledged production in favor of smaller class shows in the spring, but teacher Kelly Gregersen wanted to do something different this year to reward his students for persevering through a pandemic which took away a lot of their opportunities to perform in front of live audiences.

Washougal School District’s Alex Yost wins Green Apple Award

Clark County Public Health recently named Alex Yost, a Washougal High School professional technical assistant and substitute teacher, as the 2022 recipient of its Green Apple Award, given annually to a school employee who works to reduce harmful environmental impacts.
