Washougal property owner proposes adventure park

A rural Washougal property owner has proposed to build a recreational park featuring a variety of outdoor amenities, including zipline courses and a “mountain coaster,” on his 150-acre site.

‘More than just a store’

A large white sign, adorned with a photo of Dakima Hicks and the words, “I will never have it all together; I can only control me,” hangs on the west wall of the Daria Maria Boutique, downtown Washougal’s newest business.
