Charles "Chuck" and Alma Ladd, of Camas, have been selected as Camas Days Senior Royalty. Chuck, 73, and Alma, 70, have spent their lives making a difference in the lives of others. Their time as volunteers has benefitted all age groups.

The Relay for Life of East Clark County began Saturday morning, with a walk around the track by cancer survivors and caregivers. The 24-hour event was held at Fishback Stadium, by Washougal High School.

Relaying for many reasons

The annual Relay for Life of East Clark County involved people of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens.

Sunglasses or graduation ceremony programs were used to shield graduates and spectators eyes from the sun. The high temperature in Washougal Saturday was 76 degrees.

The Washougal High School 101st commencement ceremony served as an opportunity to say farewell to several faculty and staff members, as well as the Class of 2015.
