Business A local shoe store is partnering with a children’s charity based in Vancouver, to raise money and awareness for orphans around the world.
Arktana will give customers 10 percent off their in-store purchase when they donate $10 or more to All God’s Children International. The donations will purchase shoes and clothing for orphans and vulnerable children abroad. The offer is good through Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Ann Matthews opened Arktana, at 415 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, in April 2014. The store, which specializes in shoes for men and women, is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m.
