Seafood from the Northwest will be featured at a new business in downtown Camas.
The B&B Fish Market will open Saturday, at 536 N.E. Fifth Ave.
The festivities that day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will include gift bags for children and adults, complimentary samples of smoked products and a raffle to win gift cards.
The market is owned by Zetta Bellamy and her daughter-in-law, Janel Bellamy.
Zetta’s son, Robert, has been renovating the future business site.
“We will have salmon, steelhead, halibut, lingcod and rockfish, to name a few,” he said. “Other varieties will be available when in season, like sockeye, albacore tuna and sturgeon. There will be some shellfish, like oysters and clams and crabs.
“Both myself and mom know how to prepare the seafood, and we will have a few recipes to share,” Robert added.
B&B Fish Market will be open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. For more information, call 833-9047 or email bbfishmarket@gmail.com.
