The Vancouver Clinic, a private, multi-specialty medical group, recently welcomed Mark Mantei as its new chief executive officer.
According to a press release, Mantei, who joins TVC from The Everett Clinic, will provide strategic leadership in support of TVC’s mission to be “the best in the Northwest for patient-focused, quality-proven care.”
Mantei assumes his role with TVC during a time of significant transition in the health care industry. According to Mantei, growing TVC’s model of care is critical for patients and employers who want comprehensive, collaborative, high-value care from quality providers that they know and trust.
“I’m often told The Vancouver Clinic is Southwest Washington’s ‘best kept secret,'” he said. “Having worked in health care for a long time, I can tell you that a proudly local, independent medical group committed to patient-focused care across all life stages is rare in today’s increasingly corporate health care environment. I am thrilled to join The Vancouver Clinic and look forward to strengthening its unique contribution to our community’s well-being.”
Mantei brings more than 30 years of public health experience to TVC. In his previous position as chief operating officer for The Everett Clinic, Mantei was responsible for overall strategic operations and helped grow the clinic from 50 to nearly 500 providers. He also serves on the board of directors of the American Medical Group Association, which includes more than 400 medical groups nationwide whose physicians care for one in three Americans.
