Business The Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking nominations for its Citizen of the Year and Businessperson of the Year awards.
A Citizen of the Year nominee must live within 98607 or 98671 zip codes and have performed volunteer services in the community that have contributed to an overall positive impact on Camas and/or Washougal.
Business Person of the Year nominees must work in the 98607 or 98671 zip codes, and have shown a positive business influence on the Camas-Washougal area. Also, the businessperson must promote the community through any combination of the following: length of service, image, reputation, activities, promotions, growth or participation in business organizations.
Applications, due by 5 p.m., Friday, May 1, are available at the chamber office, 422 N.E. Fourth Ave., online at www.cwchamber.com, and Riverview Community Bank branches in Camas and Washougal. Winners will be announced May 7, and then honored during the Citizen of the Year banquet Wednesday, June 3, at Camas Meadows Golf Club.
