Washington State University Vancouver will host a free leadership conference for high school juniors and seniors, and college students from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 in the Firstenburg Student Commons.
Students must register at vancouver.wsu.edu/osi by noon on Monday, Feb. 2.
The Cougar Leadership Program will teach strategies participants can apply to their personal, academic and future professional lives.
The day will begin with learning to “Pace Yourself for Leadership” from keynote speaker Angela Cassel, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant and current CEO of TLC Moments, LLC.
Next, local business leaders and WSU Vancouver alumni, staff and faculty will lead workshops that will develop new or build upon existing leadership skills.
Lunch will be provided.
