18th Legislative District Rep. Brandon Vick has closed his Camas office in anticipation of the start of the 2015 legislative session.
The office, formerly located at 532 N.E. Third Ave., was shuttered Dec. 19. His Olympia office will open Jan. 2 at 469 John L. O’Brien Building. He can be reached by U.S. mail at P.O. Box 40600, Olympia, WA 98504-0600 or by phone at (360) 786-7850 or (800) 562-6000.
“Constituents should always feel comfortable contacting my office any time they have a question, comment or suggestion about state government and legislation,” Vick said in a press release. “It’s my job to bring the voice and values of the 18th District to Olympia, and it is an honor to serve.”
Vick (R-Felida) was recently appointed to serve as the ranking Republican on the House Business and Financial Services Committee during the 2015 session, which begins Jan. 12.
In this role, he will take the lead on caucus discussions regarding issues covered by the committee. These include issues relating to insurance, such as the activities of the Office of the Insurance Commissioner and the Pollution Liability Insurance Agency, the solvency of insurance companies, and their rates and practices. Issues relating to the safety and stability of state banks and credit unions, the regulations of consumer credit and lending, and consumer protection are also considered.
