A woman who began her career as a part-time service associate at Columbia Credit Union was recently promoted to vice president/branch manager of the Washougal location.
According to a press release, Tabitha Presser will be responsible for ensuring the branch’s overall success, meeting goals for production, sales, service and market growth. She will develop and initiate plans for staff leadership and development; ensure branch compliance with regulations and policies; and assist in advancing the strategic direction of the credit union.
“While working through the ranks in our branches, Tabitha has demonstrated the leadership, sales, service and management skills necessary to lead our Washougal team to success,” said Columbia Credit Union Vice President of Branch Services Paul Stednitz. “We’re proud and excited to have her in the branch manager role.”
Prior to her promotion, Presser held the assistant branch manager role at the Cascade Park branch. She has also held greeter and loan officer roles.
Presser holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Multnomah University in Portland. Active in the community, she volunteers for the Clark County Food Bank, Loaves and Fishes and Junior Achievement. She is also a Lunch Buddy for the Vancouver School District.
“Making life better is our core value at Columbia Credit Union and my primary focus in serving members,” Presser said. “I’m excited to help make life better for more families and businesses in the Camas-Washougal community.”
