Business Tickets are on sale now for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society’s annual dinner and auction fundraiser.
“A Tail to Remember,” will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Holiday Inn at the Portland Airport. Tickets are $60 per person, and can be purchased at the WCGHS website, www.wcghs.org.
“West Columbia Gorge Humane Society continues to make great progress in our community by providing needed resources, partnerships and a safe haven for animals while they wait for their forever home,” said WCGHS Board President Misha Piccola. “Funds raised by this wonderful event ensure we can continue to support our local community, continue to offer homeless pets a place to call home for a bit, and continue to give life-saving support to the animals in our care.”
Silent and live auction items will include vacation packages, electronics, jewelry and gift certificates to local restaurants and other businesses.
Donations for the silent and live auctions are being accepted, and corporate sponsorships and volunteers to help organize and put on the event are being sought.
