Faye H. Jacobsen

Faye H. Jacobsen died Sept. 6, 2014, in Vancouver. She was 88.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m., in the Cedar Room at Royal Oaks Country Club, 8917 N.E. Fourth Plain Road, Vancouver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders or Relay For Life Chelan-Douglas County.

Geneva I. MacCoumber

Geneva Irene MacCoumber died Sept. 14, 2014, at home in Washougal. She was 92.

At her request, there will be no formal services. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Cheryl D. Nelson

Cheryl Diane Nelson died Sept. 9, 2014, at her home in Washougal, surrounded by her family as she ended her long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 67.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 2:30 p.m., at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery, followed by a gathering to celebrate Cheryl’s life at Fallen Leaf Park in Camas. Viewing will be held Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas.

Joyce M. Starr

Joyce Marie Starr died Sept. 6, 2014, at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. She was 86.

A funeral service was held Sept. 11 at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial was private at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
