With vendors selling everything from fresh lemonade to original artwork, parades and a street designed for kids, Camas Days offered something for everyone Friday and Saturday.
“I’ve been at Camas Days for 14 years,” said Eimiko Murlin, who marched in the Kids Parade as a part of the Camas Church of the Nazarene. “My favorite things are the booths and just being silly.”
The Kids Parade was led by a firetruck from the Camas-Washougal Fire Department and included youth of various ages, as well as horses from the Cantera Equestrian Center and llama, Rojo and alpaca, Napoleon from Mountain Peaks Therapy.
“It’s a good thing every year. The kids have a good time,” said Megan Lambert. “The fun part is getting it all together.”
Lambert helped her children, nephews and nieces with their “rock ‘n roll” costumes and Kiss themed float.
