The Board of Clark County Commissioners recently appointed three community members to fill seats on the Board of Equalization.
Lisa Bodner, who has served as an alternate board member since 2004, was appointed to a full-time position. She was formerly president of People’s Community Federal Credit Union. Her term will end July 14, 2017.
Amanda Schoolfield, a Vancouver real estate appraiser, was reappointed as an alternative board member, a position she has held for several years. Her term will also end July 14, 2017.
Richard Bailey, a real estate attorney, was appointed to fill Bodner’s unexpired term, which ends July 14, 2016.
The Board of Equalization assists in the administration of property tax, providing a citizen forum in which property owners can resolve issues of assessed valuation and exemptions. It is compromised of three citizens and up to four alternates.
