Festival poster contest set
All youth are invited to participate in the Camtown Youth Festival poster contest.
Poster design must be drawn on white, 8.5 by 11 inch paper, and any art medium maybe used.
Entrants should use some of the festival elements in their poster design, such as slides, bounce houses, carnival games, petting zoo, food vendors, art show, etc.
The deadline is Friday, March 29. Students must write their name, school, grade and phone number on the back of the design. Drop off submissions at the Camas Community Center, 1718 S.E. Seventh Ave., or mail to P.O. Box 1055, Camas, WA 98607, Attn. CYF Poster Contest.The winners will be announced the week of April 15.Camtown will be held Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Crown Park in Camas.
Pancake breakfast scheduled
A pancake breakfast will be held Saturday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Canyon Creek Middle School commons, 9731 Washougal River Road.
Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 11 and younger. Proceeds benefit the school.
Entertainment will be provided by Canyon Creek band and choir students. The choir will also be perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
