‘E-Waste’ recycling event is next weekend
The Clark County Skills Center Electro-Digital Technologies Program is hosting a post-holiday “E-Waste” recycling event from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, at the Skills Center, 12200 N.E. 28th St. in Vancouver.
Donations of computers, printers and peripherals will be recycled free of charge.
No appliances or televisions will be accepted.

ESD offering parent webinars
Education Service District 112 is launching a series of webinars called “Parent U,” which are designed to help parents connect with professionals who can provide guidance and resources they need to help their children.
Parents may watch a presentation online, ask questions and participate in live surveys.
Each session is $10, and topics include cyber bullying, kids and mobile devices, sexting, digital footprints and child sex trafficking.
Presentations take place on Tuesday evenings and typically last one hour. For more information or to register, visit www.parentu.net.
Turf Committee extends brick purchase fundraiser
Due to community requests, the Washougal School District Turf Committee has decided to extend the deadline for purchasing bricks for the Honor Walk that will be installed at Washougal High School’s Fishback Stadium this summer.
