A Camas chiropractic practice is teaming up with Share’s backpack program to fight hunger in Clark County.

This month, every person who brings in a new backpack filled with suggested, non-perishable foods will receive a free chiropractic adjustment. Individuals who are new to the clinic will receive a free chiropractic consultation, examination and “Myovision scan.”

Suggested food items include tuna, canned chili and soup, canned beans, peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, crackers, boxed meals, canned fruits and vegetables, instant oatmeal, cereal and snack bars. The backpacks will be distributed to children who need help getting enough food to eat during the weekends.

A minimum cash donation of $25 is accepted instead of a food donation.
