The public will get the chance to weigh-in on a proposal to increase C-Tran bus fares.
The public hearing will be held Tuesday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m., at the Fisher’s Landing Transit Center, 3510 S.E. 164th Ave., in Vancouver.
Proposed changes include 5 cent increases to Adult C-Zone fares (from $1.60 to $1.65), Adult All-Zone fares (from $2.45 to $2.50), Honored All-Zone fares (from $1.20 to $1.25), Youth All-Zone (from $1.20 to $1.25), C-VAN All-Zone (from $1.60 to $1.65), C-VAN All-Zone ($2.45 to $2.50).
Monthly and annual passes would also be headed for increases. An Adult C-Zone monthly pass will increase from $56 to $58, while an Adult All-Zone pass jumps from $90 to $100. An Adult C-Zone annual pass would go from $616 to $638 per year, while an adult All-Zone pass jumps from $990 to $1,100.
