Skills center to serve dinner
A five-course dinner featuring roasted chicken with apple stuffing, roasted butternut squash soup, shallot-sauteed locally-grown green beans and caramel white chocolate bread pudding highlight the first open-to-the-public gourmet dinner presented by the students of the Skills Center Restaurant Management/Culinary Arts program.
“Celebrating the Northwest’s Bounty” begins at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4 in the Skills Center restaurant, 12200 N.E. 28th St., Vancouver. The meal is planned, hosted, prepared and served by the students enrolled in the American Culinary Federation-certified program.
