Paige Wade has watched her best friend, Robyn Pfeifer, battle Crohn’s disease since the eighth grade.
The girls, who are juniors at Washougal High School, have been best friends since first grade.
Watching Pfeifer spend 66 days in the hospital during the summer of 2009 and endure six surgeries, inspired Wade to do something to help.
So she talked to a mutual friend, WHS senior Chandler Audette, and they decided to host a benefit concert in Pfeifer’s honor.
“Seeing what she has had to go through really inspired me to do something,” she said. “So I talked to my mom about how to get the word out and she suggested a benefit concert.”
