Riverview Bank announces recent new hires

Riverview Community Bank recently announced the hiring of two new employees.

With 15 years of professional communications experience in Clark County, Gina Williams has been named one of the bank’s marketing specialists. Michael Pomeroy was recently brought on as a trust administrator.

Williams, who has lived in Camas since 2000, most recently served as communications director for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. At Riverview, she will focus on public and client relations, community outreach and support of the bank’s online presence.

“Gina brings a wealth of marketing and communications experience along with a strong local business background,” said Scott Miller, marketing senior vice president. “She will be integral to our efforts to further grow and enhance Riverview’s marketing and community outreach efforts and support our long-standing mission to serve clients and the community.”

Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. She is a graduate of Leadership Clark County, and is currently finishing coursework to earn a master’s degree in strategic communication from UO.

She is an active volunteer in local groups including the Camas School District, the Camas-Washougal Aviation Foundation, the Fort Vancouver Composite Squadron and Civil Air Patrol.

In his position Pomeroy, also a Camas resident, will focus on servicing existing trust and asset management clients, in addition to building Riverview’s client base. He is a certified trust and financial advisor, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver, and graduated from the National Graduate Trust School and the Pacific Coast Banking School.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry.
