She was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Rock Springs, Wyo.

Melda Fern Hagensen died Jan. 24, 2011, at home in Vancouver. She was 84.

Her life was celebrated on Saturday at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. A graveside service followed at the Camas Cemetery.

Lester ‘Les’ A. Woodman Sr.

Lester “Les” Albert Woodman Sr., formerly of Washougal, died Jan. 23, 2011. He was 96.

He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; infant daughter, Joyce; three sons, Mike, John and Les Jr.; and two sisters, Nellie Dahlgren and Dottie Ast-Aslin.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver. A reception will follow at his niece’s home in Washougal, 2616 S.E. 347th Ave.
