“Fiddler on the Roof,” will come to life when Christian Youth Theatre presents the classic musical in Washougal.
In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.
Performances at the Washburn Performing Arts Center at Washougal High School will be held Fridays, Dec. 3 and 10 at 7 p.m.; Saturdays, Dec. 4 and 11 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Sundays, Dec. 5 and 12 at 2 p.m.
Tickets, $12 each, and tickets for children, senior citizens and group tickets $9 each, can be pre-purchased at www.cytvanport.org. Tickets bought at the show will be $2 more.
