Beginning this weekend, those looking for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts do not need to venture any farther than the local area. That’s because several bazaars are coming to churches, schools and civic centers. Eager shoppers will have the chance to support the local economy, buy handcrafted items and avoid big box stores.

Nov. 5-7
Crafts Unlimited Holiday Boutique
The Crafts Unlimited Holiday Boutique is on Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, at 426 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., in Vancouver.
The juried show features arts, crafts and live music in a boutique setting with a central cashier. Admission is free. Organizers will collect non-perishable food items for local food banks.
This year, there will be an artists’ reception and refreshments Friday from to 7 p.m.
