Edward V. Baskette

Edward Voorheis Baskette died Aug. 28, 2010, at his home in Ashland, Ore., with his partner Linda Cannon by his side. He was 78.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, love of family, love of Country, and dedication to his work, particularly W.E. Plemons Machinery Services, Inc.

James L. ‘Jim’ Bredesen

James L. “Jim” Bredesen, a loving father, grandfather and friend, died Aug. 29, 2010. He was 70.

Service will be held Thursday, at 10 a.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held at 9 a.m. There will be a celebration of Jim’s life following the service at noon, at the Vancouver Elk’s Lodge #823, 11605 S.E. McGillivray Blvd, Vancouver.

Robert D. Collins

Robert Dean Collins died Aug. 30, 2010, in Vancouver. He was 78.

A celebration of his life and reception will be held Saturday, at 3 p.m., at the AWPPW Union Hall, 514 N.E. Dallas St., in Camas. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth M. Duncan

Kenneth M. Duncan died Sept. 1, 2010, in Vancouver. He was 89.

He was born July 3, 1921, in Agency, Mo. A memorial service will be held Sept.15, at 2 p.m., at the The Quarry Assisted Living Facility, 415 S.E. 177th Ave., in Vancouver. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Robert W. Willis

Robert Wesley Willis of Camas died Aug. 30, 2010. He was 46.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, located at Northeast Fourth Avenue and Garfield Street, in Camas.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Jeanne Witter

Jeanne Witter died Aug. 28, 2010, in Vancouver. She was 92.

Family gatherings in celebration of her life will be private. Straub’s Funeral Home and Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of arrangements.
