Angelo’s Pizza adds breakfast items to menu

Jo Broersma is back in the kitchen – this time at Angelo’s New York Style Pizza, in Camas.

Broersma, former owner of Jo’s Restaurant, in downtown Washougal, for three decades, is baking several of her well known dishes.

“She is 82 and still working, making the biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls,” said her son Ron Broersma, co-owner of Angelo’s with Jo. “We’ve got huge portions. They won’t leave hungry, I guarantee it. Everything is fresh.”

Recently added breakfast items, available daily from 6 to 11 a.m., also include omelets, pancakes and French toast. Free coffee is served all day.

Lunch buffets, available Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., include all-you-can-eat spare ribs, sweet and sour meatballs, cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit salads.

Banquet facilities, with views of the Washougal River, are available to seat up to 100 people for breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings, as well as sports awards celebrations.

Angelo’s New York Style Pizza, 3136 N.E. Third Ave., is open Sunday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call 835-1205.
