Local little league all-star baseball and softball teams announced

On June 14, East County Little League had its 2010 closing ceremonies at the George Schmid Memorial Park, in Washougal. On the same day, LaCamas Little League held closing ceremonies at Forest Home Park, in Camas.

Here are the baseball and softball all-star teams announced for both leagues:

LaCamas Little League

Minor baseball (ages 9 to 10) – Ryan Behnke, Taylor Birchem, Wesley Colvin, Christian Geigenmiller, Shane Jamison, Aaron McDonald, Brannon Meriwether, Connor Shira, Haruki Takada, Tanner Thorson, Patrick Upkes, Tyler Vaughn and Carson Williams.

Minor softball (ages 9 to 10) – Payton Bates, Bethany Collins, Madison Freemon, Rachel Kabel, Chyane LaRoche, Colleen McAvoy, Hanna Peterson, Lizzy Sheldon, Ashley Simms, Taylor Trupp, Jillian Webb and Jordyn Wilds.

Major baseball (ages 10 to 11) – Max Gantar, Connor Haskin, Gage Hoefs, Dylan Ingram, Ryan Kempf, Michael Kuhlman, Logan Miller, Vincent Morta, Matthew Murphy, Luke Pipkin, Aaron Sawyer and Genya Shimada.

Major softball (ages 11 to 12) – Katelyn Beets, Danielle Behnke, Taylor Clements, Ashley Cupryk, Elise Filuk, Rileigh Grandy, Morgan Hubbell, Katie Hull, Lindsey Kosaki, Lindsey Latimer, Maddison Neeley, Molly Rayniak and Mckenzie Schaller.

Minor softball (ages 9 to 10) – Cassie Baldino, Kassidy Baldwin, Katie Boon, Cameron Davies, Rylee Erdwins, Maggie Hungerford, Paige Hungerford, Dana Martin, Keana Macrae-Smith, Madyson Monroe, Kaitlyn Rose, Jenna Welinski and Ashley Williams.

Junior softball (ages 13 to 14) – Jackie Cohrs, Hanna Dutter, Emily Field, Kaitlyn Jonason and Rachel Wilson. These girls are combined with all-stars from Bridge of the Gods Little League.
