Henrietta Louise Meredith
Henrietta Louise Meredith passed away peacefully at her home in Camas, WA. Henrietta was born in Vancouver, WA to Henry & Nancy Flagar. She grew up in Hockinson, WA until her 1st marriage to William Waring. They had 2 children & moved to Camas, WA where they both worked at Crown Zellerbach.
After a divorce, she then met and married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Meredith on July 16,1962. She went to work at the Camas Safeway bakery and retired from there after 30 years. She enjoyed her monthly Bunco games with her co-workers and family. She also played on softball and bowling leagues throughout her life.
Henrietta and Bob loved motorcycle races, followed Sprint car races & NHRA drag races where they made many lifelong friends along the way. They spent many years traveling in their motorhome all along the west coast including Mexico and Canada. Henrietta loved to work in her yard when not traveling until a stroke 3 years ago slowed her down. Bob took great care of her until her passing, never leaving her side.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, son Henry Waring & sisters Fern, Janet, Nancy and Gwendolyn. She is survived by her husband Robert Meredith, brother Walter Flagar, daughter Marie (Danny) Jones, stepdaughter Janice (Gary) Henry, daughter in law Carol Waring, and chosen daughter Sandy Petta. Grandchildren Angi Waring, Annette Waring, Brennan Jones, Gayle Jones, Kristen Henry & Michael Henry. Great grandchildren include Cameron, Taber, Madysen, Stacey, Sadie, Sophia, Althea, Archer, Paxton, Rylee Jo & Haze. Also, great-great grandchildren Aubree Jo, William & Jaxson.
So many great memories to hold in our hearts. Love you to the moon and back.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Nov. 22 at 3 p.m.
