Bridge Island Arts and Vintage will host its second clothing swap upcycling event from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.
The clothing swap will feature clothing of all sizes, for all seasons.
“This is an opportunity to give your used and unused clothing new life, by trading it for another item you’ll absolutely love,” Bridge Island owners explained in a news release announcing the event.
Participants are urged to bring their own bags and to ensure all clothing items they bring are clean and ready to go home with another participant. All leftover items will be donated to local nonprofit organizations.
Bridge Island Arts and Vintage is located at 1902 S.E. Sixth Ave., between downtown Camas and the Port of Camas-Washougal.
Items suggested for the clothing swap include: sweaters, pants, jackets, shoes in reusable condition, clean backpacks, skirts and dresses.
The shop’s current hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Monday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. For more information, call Shelley Caldwell at 360-834-3343 or email info@bridgeisland.com.
