Camas residents hoping to dispose of live trees following the Christmas holiday have three options available.
According to the city of Camas, residents can place trees under 5-feet with their yard debris for Waste Connections (tree must be under 5ft); have their trees (also those smaller than 5 feet) picked up by Camas Sanitation for $14; or participate in the annual Boys Scouts tree-recycling fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024.
The Boy Scouts will deliver a flyer to Camas residents with more information. Residents who do not receive a flyer by Jan. 1, can find more information online scouttreerecycling.com
Trees picked up by Waste Connections or Camas Sanitation will need to be cut to a size under 5 feet to qualify for disposal.
