Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, the city of Camas’ public works department will begin lowering the water level in Lacamas Lake from 6 feet to about 5 feet to facilitate dam inspections and repairs.

The minimum lake levels will likely be achieved on Sept. 26. The city will begin to refill the lake beginning Oct. 24, and it will take several weeks, depending on the amount of rainfall Camas receives, to refill the lake.
