Business, Latest News, News The Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce, along with Riverview Community Bank, is seeking nominations for its annual, Camas-Washougal “Businessperson of the Year” and “Citizen of the Year” awards.
Nominations are due by 5 p.m. April 25, and nomination forms are available at the Chamber office, 422 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas, and online at cwchamber.com.
The “Citizen of the Year” must live in the 98607 or 98671 area codes and have performed volunteer services that have contributed to an overall positive impact on Camas or Washougal.
The “Businessperson of the Year” must work in the 98607 or 98671 area codes and have shown a positive business influence on the Camas-Washougal area. Also, the businessperson must promote the community through any combination of the following: length of service, image, reputation, activities, promotions, growth and/or participation in business organizations.
The Chamber will announce this year’s award winners at its annual award banquet on June 1. For more information, visit cwchamber.com.
