Latest News, News A man sustained burns to his hands after the Washougal-area outbuilding he was staying in caught fire on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
East County Fire and Rescue responded around 11 a.m. to the 29200 block of Zeek Road, where they found a 100-by-100-foot barn fully engulfed in flames, according to ECFR chief Mike Carnes.
The building and its contents were a total loss, and a nearby travel trailer was destroyed, Carnes said.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
