Recycled Arts Festival accepting artist, vendor applications

The Clark County Recycled Arts Festival is accepting applications for artists, nonprofit educational booths, and food vendors. The annual festival is returning to Esther Short Park on June 25-26.

The Recycled Arts Festival started in 2005 to educate and excite the community about waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. The festival has grown into a two-day family event celebrating sustainability and attracting thousands of people.

The Recycled Arts Festival is currently accepting applications for the following roles:

Art vendors: Artists are required to incorporate a minimum of 75% recycled, reclaimed, or repurposed material into their artwork. Deadline is Jan. 15.

Nonprofit educational booths: Nonprofit vendors attending the festival play a large role in educating event attendees about concepts related to environmentalism and sustainability. Deadline is Feb. 28.

Food vendors: Mobile food vendors (including food trucks) with a focus on sustainability and waste reduction within their business are encouraged to apply. The deadline is Feb. 28.
