Church group to give out backpacks, school supplies

R.A.D. Outreach, a ministry team based out of Radiant Church in Camas, will hold a “back-to-school” event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at The Outpost, 573 30th St., Washougal, for Camas and Washougal families.

The event will provide students with backpacks and school supplies at no cost, as well as hot dogs, chips and drinks. Local hair stylists will give students free haircuts.
