Unite! Washougal, a Washougal-based nonprofit organization that supports youth and guides healthy choices, is asking community members to record short videos that promote healthy living for a contest as part of its “positive community norms” campaign.
Videos should demonstrate “a safe, healthy and fun activity you choose to participate in that demonstrates our theme ‘because…you can choose to love your life,'” according to a post on the Washougal School District’s Facebook page, and be between 15 seconds and two minutes long.
The contest is open to all Washougal residents. Barnes & Noble gift cards will be given to the winning participant in four age groups — elementary student, middle school student, high school student and adult.
Visit unitewashougal.com for complete rules and submission form. Videos must be submitted to washougalunite@gmail.com by midnight Monday, April 12, to be considered.
