Police have identified the victim of Friday’s fatal, crash on Highway 14 as 65-year-old Mary A. Levey, of Camas.
According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn, at approximately 12:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, Levey was driving a 2004 black Ford Explorer westbound near milepost 12 on Highway 14, when she drifted onto the right shoulder, overcorrected, crossed the westbound lanes and crashed into the center concrete median.
The collision caused Levey’s vehicle to roll several times, coming to rest on its wheels and blocking both westbound lanes.
Levey, the sole occupant in the Explorer, was pronounced dead at the scene.
