The Brian Odell Band will open this year’s Camas Days festivities as the free, family friendly Summer Concerts in the Park series kicks off.
The band will perform at Crown Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 25.
The Brian Odell Band is a rock band with roots firmly grounded in funk, fusion and folk. Combining acoustic guitar, violin, electric guitar, drums, bass and vocals, their original music and select covers have been influenced by the Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Jack Johnson. Camas Parks & Recreation will host a table at the event with information about the city’s summer special events and youth programs.
This year’s food vendor for the Concerts in the Parks is “Natalia’s Cafe, Too,” featuring local cafe favorites. Food also can be purchased at Top Burger across the street from the park, or from restaurants in downtown Camas four blocks away. Picnic dinners are always welcome.
The Summer Concerts in the Park series is coordinated by Camas Parks and Recreation and runs July 25 through Aug. 15.
No alcohol, dogs or other animals are allowed.
