The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for Camas-Washougal and the greater Portland-Vancouver metro area.
The NWS predicts one to four inches of snow may accumulate between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
More snow is possible in areas above 500 feet.
The NWS says rain is likely to change to snow “sometime between midnight and 6 a.m.” on Saturday, Feb. 9, with periods of snowfall throughout the day on Saturday.
A winter storm watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. The NWS says travelers should “plan for snow-covered roads and difficult conditions.”
