A Camas woman and her baby daughter have been located alive, outside the city limits of Washougal, after being listed as missing and endangered for almost a month.
A Skamania County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy stopped a black Honda sedan driven by Dannielle M. Williams, 30, on state Route 14 (SR-14) at or near milepost 30, Wednesday, Jan. 9.
The deputy had observed the car preparing to turn eastbound onto SR-14 from Salmon Falls Road, and he reported that the driver waited an inordinate amount of time to turn and allowed him to pass.
The deputy used rear facing radar to determine the driver was attempting to allow distance between them, traveling at 10 mph under the posted speed limit of 55 mph. He pulled to the side of the road and allowed the sedan to pass.
The deputy checked the registration on the Oregon licensed vehicle and it returned to a Spokane, Washington, address and was expired. He caught back up to the sedan, which was then exceeding the posted speed limit.
