UPDATE: Vancouver motorcyclist in Camas crash has died

Camas Police responded to accident Sunday night at corner of Northwest Brady Road and Northwest 16th Avenue

A 28-year-old Vancouver man who suffered life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle Sunday night in Camas has died.
First responders from the Camas police and Camas-Washougal fire departments responded to the accident at the intersection of Northwest Brady Road and Northwest 16th Avenue at 7:59 p.m., Sunday, July 30. At the scene, they found the motorcycle driver, Christopher D. Lewis, of Vancouver, seriously injured. Lewis was transported to Peace Health Southwest hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to Camas police, the driver of the other vehicle, 18-year-old Michaela Lenard, of Camas, stayed at the scene and  cooperated with officers.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, but reported that a witness told them Lewis had gone through a stop sign at the intersection.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is assisting with the investigation.
