A PeaceHealth employee who served three years as system vice president of human resources operations has been promoted to senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
Susan Bruechner will report directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Carol Aaron.
Bruechner has more than 20 years of human resources experience.
That includes almost eight years in management roles at the investment firm Goldman Sachs.
Bruechner volunteers at and supports organizations such as the Oregon Humane Society, the Clark County and Oregon food banks, DoveLewis emergency animal hospital, the Madeleine Parish and School, Human Rights Campaign and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
PeaceHealth, based in Vancouver, is a not-for-profit Catholic health system with approximately 16,000 caregivers in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. There is a group practice with approximately 900 providers, a laboratory system and 10 medical centers.
