PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center has hired several new executives.
Ron Saxton has accepted the position of executive vice president and general counsel for the nonprofit Catholic health care system serving communities in Washington, Oregon and Alaska. In addition, Janet McGuire was recently named system vice president for revenue cycle and Jeff Seirer will be the new system vice president for financial integrity and controller.
Saxton assumes his role in an official capacity after serving as interim general counsel since February.
“This is an exciting development for PeaceHealth,” said President and CEO Liz Dunne. “Ron brings a wealth of strategic experience, wisdom and judgment to our organization, and his track record perfectly aligns with our commitment to build strong relationships in the communities we are blessed to serve.”
Saxton is joining PeaceHealth from the law firm Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, where he has specialized in corporate strategy counsel as well as transactional, regulatory and financial guidance.
McGuire has more than 20 years of experience in health care finance. She currently serves as the senior director of revenue cycle and regional lead for Ascension Health in Jacksonville, Florida.
