Karen L. Gist died unexpectedly but peacefully in her home June 24, 2016. She was 64.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 3, at 2 p.m., at Vancouver First United Methodist Church. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Edith V. “Oma” Arndt died June 19, 2016. She was 88.

A private celebration of life will be held in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Alisa B. Vail

Alisa B. Vail, of Camas, died June 23, 2016. She was 41.

She was born Sept. 1, 1974, in Vancouver. A celebration of life open house will be held Saturday, July 9, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Pearson Air Museum in Vancouver. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
