KMR Group awards scholarship
Kendra Herigstad of Camas High School has earned a scholarship from the KMR Group Foundation, a Vancouver nonprofit.
The scholarship is for books and tuition, and is renewable for four years. Students can receive up to $14,000 in that four-year period.
Herigstad is one of 31 students in Clark County who earned the scholarship.
“Our goal each year is to award 25 deserving students the opportunity to chase their academic dreams,” said Kate Jones, KMR founder and executive director. “But this year the selection process was so difficult and the candidates so outstanding that we decided to award all the finalists a KMR scholarship.”
